I bought this unit to house some brand-new high-end stereo components. Overall, I find it rather disappointing. Here is a short list of pros and cons.Pros: Looks nice. Very easy to put together (IF you have previous experience with pre-fab DYI furniture as I do.) I especially like the use of hidden cams, which speeds up construction time considerably. Instructions are, for the most part, clear and easy to follow. I was able to build this in about an hour using only a standard Philips screwdriver and a light-duty hammer. The unit is fairly heavy. Adjustable shelves allow for versatility. I like the front kickplate, which is installed using wooden pegs. Center magnetic latch is very easy to install and works well. I was very impressed by the precision of all pre-drilled pilot holes etc.. Cons: The unit, once put together, is structurally flimsy, with a good deal of sway from side to side.
