Larger toys don't fit so well due to the small space between the top and bottom of the bins. It's very sturdy only if you put it together right. I can easily see how people think it's not sturdy but they just did not put it together properly. You have to lay the wooden board down, then insert rods sticking straight up in air, then lay other wooden board on top and screw in. Hey, I did it by myself!
